1. About the service
Grow Your Club (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides hosted Last Man Standing software at growyourclub.net, enabling clubs and groups to run Premier League prediction competitions online.
By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Club vs platform responsibilities
Grow Your Club provides the software platform only. Each club instance is operated by a club administrator, who is responsible for:
- Local competition rules and communications with members.
- Collecting entry fees and distributing prizes or winnings.
- Approving or rejecting member registrations and entries.
- Ensuring participants meet any age, membership, or eligibility requirements.
Grow Your Club is not a party to financial arrangements between clubs and their members, and we do not hold or pay out prize funds on behalf of clubs.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- Member registration is by invitation only in production. You must use the registration link provided by your club administrator.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure.
- User accounts are scoped to a specific club instance. The same email may be used in different clubs, but username and email must be unique within one club.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or pose a security risk.
4. Game rules (summary)
The full rules for your competition may include club-specific additions. The platform implements Last Man Standing as follows:
- Each entry picks one Premier League team per competition round. The team must win for the entry to survive.
- A draw or loss eliminates that entry for the season.
- Each team may be selected only once per entry during the season.
- Selections must be confirmed before the deadline for each round (currently 1 hour before the first fixture of that round, UK time).
- If no selection is confirmed by the deadline, the platform may assign a random unused team on your behalf.
- In Round 1, entries may submit score predictions for tie-breaking purposes.
- If all remaining entries are eliminated in the same round, Round 1 score predictions are used to determine the winner(s). Shared wins are possible when points are tied.
- Fixture schedules and results depend on third-party data sources; we do not guarantee their accuracy or timeliness.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable regulations.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a club.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, including through automated scraping or excessive requests.
- Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, update features, or modify the service with reasonable notice where practicable. Fixture data is supplied via third-party APIs and may occasionally be delayed or incomplete.
7. Intellectual property
The Grow Your Club platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your club’s competition. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as entry names), but grant us a licence to process it as needed to operate the service.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by Irish law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where allowed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grow Your Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Our total aggregate liability to you for claims arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Grow Your Club for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €100 if no fee was paid, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
Club instances may be archived or deleted by platform administrators. Club administrators may remove member accounts from their instance. When an account or instance is removed, access to the service ends and associated data may be deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. Privacy
Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. You agree that the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
